Basic Need

  • The United Way of RI’s 2-1-1 call line is a free, confidential service. Calls are answered by a trained professional.  One call connects callers with the appropriate resources he/she/they need in the community.  It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.   • The Providence Housing Authority ‘s Resident Service Coordinator (RSC) Program provides needs assessments and facilitates referrals to a wide range of services to support self-sufficiency for families and healthy aging in place for elders and persons with disabilities living in public housing developments.  If you are not a resident, please call 2-1-1.
