To request maintenance services, residents must call the 24-hour Maintenance Call Center at (401) 421-3325. The Call Center will generate a numbered work order that will be assigned to an appropriate staff member for completion. When contacting the Maintenance Call Center, residents should fully describe the problem so that the dispatcher can determine the level of priority of the requested services. First priority is given to situations in which there is an immediate threat to life or safety or a danger of serious damage to PHA property. Second priority is given to situations that involve no heat, an inoperable refrigerator, or non-working sanitary facility. All other work orders are classified as routine work orders and will be addressed according to the time and date the request was received. The PHA strives to complete routine work orders in a timely fashion.
