The Providence Housing Authority (PHA) updated its Section 8 Administrative Plan as of September 30, 2020.

What changed in the Administrative Plan?

Updates were made administratively under a HUD CARES Act waiver for use during the COVID-19 emergency for the remainder of the year. Changes are in Sections 1 and 6.  More specifically, the changes relate to the preferences for the Mainstream Voucher program and update processes for Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Inspections. Changes will allow the Housing Authority to expand its reach into the homeless community and allow the agency to engage in the inspection process safely during the pandemic.
