Jobs Plus Providence

Jobs Plus Providence

JPP is a four-year initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to help residents increase their skills, knowledge and income. The Providence Housing Authority launched JPP in April, 2017 at its Hartford Park and Manton Heights family developments.

The vision for JPP is that all work-able residents between the ages of 18 and 61 will secure career-path, living wage jobs. If you are a resident from one of these two developments and your income increases through a new job, additional hours or a higher rate of pay, you will NOT experience a rent increase.  JPP Orientations are held twice a week (Wednesdays; 5-6 pm and Thursdays; 10-11 am) at the Resident Services Department facility (50 Laurel Hill Avenue). For more information about JPP or two register for an Orientation, please contact one of our JPP Employment Case Managers or a JPP Community Outreach Worker
